Cooperation

Cooperations exist at various levels in the program "Changing Earth - Sustaining our Future". The cooperation between the topics and between the research fields is favored by the Cross-Cutting Actitivties. Therein, the synthesis and knowledge communication initiative SynCom is an important component. Within Topic 1, five Helmholtz centers collaborate.  In addition, research within Topic 1 is supported by collaborations with external partners outside the Helmholtz Society.

At KIT itself, there is a close cooperation especially with the South German Climate Office, the KIT Climate and Environment Center and the Center for Disaster Management and Risk Reduction Technology.
